56, Democrat. Fiscal moderate, social liberal. Active in community service work. Hey, I'm a community organizer!
There have been any number of folks calling for one candidate or the other to concede and get out of the race. I've given this quite a bit of thought, and I'm going to propose a contrary view.
I believe that it will be good for the Democratic candidate if the nomination goes to the convention floor. In fact, while it may not be the best thing for a given candidate, it may well be the best thing that can happen to Democrats!
Why, you ask? Why will this tiring, exhausting, contentious, frustrating, endless-back-and-forth be good for us?
